USDA PROGRAMS & SERVICES

Congress has provided $2.2 billion in financial assistance to farmers, ranchers and forest landowners who experienced discrimination in USDA’s farm lending program prior to January 1, 2021. Wealth Watchers Inc., through C.R.O.P. is providing support and education to those who have been impacted. The nonprofit will host town hall meetings and provide guidance through the free application process.

Who is eligible for the USDA Discrimination Financial Assistance Program?

Individuals who:

Experienced discrimination, prior to January 1, 2021, by the USDA in its farm lending programs, which are currently administered by the Farm Service Agency

or

Are currently debtors with assigned/assumed USDA farm lending debt that was the subject of USDA discrimination that occurred prior to January 1, 2021.

To participate, applicants must:
  • Be or have been a farmer or would-be farmer.
  • Be or have been a participant or would-be participant in farm lending.
  • Have experienced discrimination by USDA in USDA farm lending or be a debtor with assigned or assumed USDA farm lending debt that was the subject of USDA discrimination.
  • Provide information to substantiate discrimination experienced.
  • Be able to verify your identity.
